Recording engineers mainly record, edit, and mix sound for artists or music companies. They master all the technicalities involved in recording sessions. They typically work with music producers/ as music producers, they may help in song arrangement or musical composition.
• Sound mixing- A sound mixer's duty is to line up vocal and instrumentation sounds from recording, controlling or adjusting the volume at various points, manipulating the voices and instrumentation to ensure a positive listening experience.
Sound engineering is one of the well paid jobs in the music industry. In this role, you're responsible for adding effects and manipulating the voices on recording software and adjusting instrumentation in a recording. All of these jobs play important role in making sounds pleasant to the ear.
